One of my biggest pet-peeves- university students' whose only concern is their grades. Obviously grades are important- but I have learned something- if you go to class and *enjoy* what your are learning and take a personal interest in it, than you will make a good mark without sitting around fretting about your grades. I was just chatting with an old friend online and whenever I talk to him it's always "I got an A+ on this and an A on that," and "I'm afraid I didn't do very well on this " (when you know if made an A on that as well). I just stated how I don't care about marks and only go to school for the knowledge and learning and he said the exact thing that pisses me off "I only care about marks and not the information because I need good grades to continue going to school." Gah! Jesus! Shutup! Do you realize how hypocritical you sound? Why would one even want to go to school unless they enjoy the classes? I mean really! Fuck. I guess maybe it's an alternative to working. But still. Fuck.
Anyway- it's that sort of attitude that just disgusts me. It's so juvenile and high school like. And I sincerely hope this person doesn't read my blog, but if they do I don't care.
Anyway- end of rant.
Gotta go to class. And I am looking forward to it. Because I enjoy school and the intellectual stimulation and challenge that a university lecture offers.
I know. I am of a minority.
