So I am trying to deceide what to take for classes after Christmas. I had it all sorted out, then I got a really uninspiring email from a prof who I planned to take a class from next semester, so I think I am not going to take that class now. I dont want to take classes from profs who just believe that first year students are stupid morans who cant think outside the box and who cant properly use academic essays as reasearch for an essay. Gar. Dont ask. Its not really worth explaining. I just sent a simple email asking a question and got a response where the prof literally wrote "inevitably youll end up cribbing from the article you found". And I was like, f-you. So anyway, without more of an explaniation that I dont want to get into, I am reevaluating what courses to take next semester.
I am for sure taking the Childrens lit class, becasuse I love the prof. And plus, its an awesome course in general. I was going to take Into to Logic, but its three mornings a week, and unless i am going to take another class before or after it, i am not going to travel out to the uni 3 mornings a week for a 50min lecture. (The class I was going to take, but the prof pissed me off and I am not taking now was directly before into to Logic, so it would have worked out okay). I am thinking I might take International Studies on tuesday evenings. And I am debating whether I want to take another upper level english course where I am already taking childrens lit. then again, the reading is easy for childrens lit, so another english course wouldnt be bad. I am debating between a special topic course on contempory arthurian lit or a course on canterbury tales.
Blech. I hate making decisions.
