I successfully made it through "To the Lighthouse", which basically means, I read it without throwing it across the room or clawing my eyes out of my head. So good stuff. Having previously read "Orlando", and tried to read "Jacob's Room", I knew what I was starting. I went into my English lecture this morning and said to my prof "I had such a great time reading "To the Lighthouse" over the weekend", and he just smiled and said "Good, I'm glad you enjoyed it", to which I replied "Now I really don't know if I'm being sarcastic or sincere". My prof knows it's a challenging read, which somehow makes it better because by him recognizing that and respecting that the entire class probably wants to kill him for having this on the reading list, it makes it seem better somehow. I guess it makes me want to try all the harder on it. I'm loving my English class...
Now, I should continue reading "The Aeneid" for my Roman Myth test on Wednesday. Only 385 more pages... hahaha... there's no way I'm finishing it for Wed. But I'll give it a shot at least.
On another note, I want these, because they are just cool.
