So, my first class is done. I think I am going to take the Western Lit Tradition. It's a pretty challanging reading list, and I think right now that would be a good thing for me. Plus, I think it's a better idea to spread my classes out over the five days, instead of ramming myself with three lectures back-to-back on MWF. Even if it does mean getting up early on T&Th... oh well, I'll survive. In fact, I am sure it will do me good in the long run. Like today, it felt so nice to be out there before the campus got packed with kids. Plus, I am a morning person, even if I don't like to admit it. I'll just take the Intro to Logic next semester. (Which is what I had narrowed down to as my second option.) Although I have managed to snag a copy of the text book for $15, so I'll have that on hand for when I do take the course.
Otherwise things are going well for me... I went for a jog around the south end yesterday afternoon- oh bugger, was that ever a challenge! All the bloody hills!! I went up Carmarthan from the Lower Cove Loop and wow- that is one bugger of a hill. But it's kinda fun jogging down there because you can zig-zag every which way and make you jog a little longer if you want.
I still don't have a job. I am not trying very hard because I was holding out on hope that I would get a call from the restaurant I had the two interviews at. I think I am going to make one last trip to visit the manager today, and if she is still up in the air than I am going to resume the job hunt elsewhere.
