I'm getting a kitty! I finally broke down... I've been trying to convince myself that I shouldn't get a cat because if I go away next spring/summer than I will have to get my mom to take care of it, etc. But my mom has started encouragine me and saying it would be a good idea, so we went out to the Animal Rescue League today to look at them.
I don't know how you go about choosing a kitty, because everyone of them would be wonderful. But there was this one medium hair cat, she's a little older- probably 6months to a year I'm guessing. She crawled directly up onto my shoulders and sat right down and purred and kept snuggling into my hair and my ears- it was so cute! Then the other cat that was in the cage, who is already adopted, decided he also wanted to get up on my shoulders, so I had both cats on my shoulders sitting down and just having a great ol' time. So, she's the one I chose. I will probably be picking her up tomorrow afternoon.
Yeah! :)
