So I dropped out three resumes yesterday, and two of the places scheduled me for interviews on the spot.
So my first interview was today. The manager said she will hire me, but she first wants to make sure that she will have the hours to give me before she does.
My second interview is tomorrow afternoon. I am not going to name locations, but I really hope I get the one tomorrow afternoon. It's a waitressing job at a really popular, awesome uptown location. (Today's interview was also for a waitressing job, but it's at a chain restuarant.)
So that's the scoop on the job hunt thus far.
So, I'm really confused, because I gained ten pounds while I was in Ontario, but all my clothes still fit me fine, even my "super-tight-ass" jeans. I'd like to think it was muscle I gained, (haha...) but I dunno.
I had a really awesome weekend. Friday night I hung out with two of my good friends, Lyd and Ariane. We went to the boardwalk for a bit, and I saw some other people I know, including one of the second year students at NTS who is from Saint John, and two of my coworkers from last year at the golf course.
Then Saturday night Lyd, Steve, Ariane, Steph, Alex and I all hung out. We chilled mostly at my place, but we did make a quick appearance at the boardwalk and grabbed some pizza at Spagos. It was an awesome night... Lyd, Ariane, Steph and I used to be really awesome friends in high school, so it was so nice that we were all able to get together.
Sunday I ended up going to my parents place for supper because my brother was down and they were making yummy bbq ribs. Mmmm...
Last night I caught up with a friend I havn't seen in a while. Then I had another friend call me and asked if I wanted to hang out and watch a movie. We ended up watching movies at my place until about 6:30am!! Uugh... I got about 4 hours of sleep then I crawled out of bed to meet a friend for lunch at noon.
Tonight I am turning my cell phone off so no one can call me and ask me to do something!! I am so not used to people randomally calling me and asking me to do things. It feels really nice, but at the same time I am really bad at saying no! Oh well! I only have another couple weeks before classes start, so things will change then.
Speaking of which, I gotta buckle down and finish the damn "Rise of Rome"...
