It's Thursday... I spent the first half of my day thinking it was Wednesday. Not that it really matters... every day seems like the other at this point in time.
I have three more mornings in which I need to get up at 6:45am and wake up the kids. Then I am done!! Who-hoo! Let me just say, Monday morning when I am at my Aunt and Uncles' in Guelph, I will be sleeping until at least noon or later...
Last night I went to see The Duchess of Malfi. So, I don't know why SJTC hasn't had that on their playbill yet! (Yes, that's a joke...) Wow... it was pretty intense. Nude madmen, dead babies, at least two characters were strangled onstage... it was fun. At the end there was at least 6 dead bodies on the stage... fun times, fun times. The design was really conceptual... really strong costume and lighting choices, and makeup... I liked it, although, as someone else put it, it made you feel all weird inside... It was really intense... some of the performances were exceptionally good, but otherwise the performances were overshadowed a bit by the costumes, wigs, makeup, lighting... etc.
I am just chilling this afternoon... I'm going to try and get through another 10 or more pages of "The Rise of Rome". Oh man... don't get me started on that book... I'm trying to trick myself into believeing it's interesting, but really, it's so monotonous. I'm halfway though it, which is pretty good because I just started it like 9 days ago... But before I do that... I think it's time for a 2pm cat-nap...
