Physical activity is a great way to get energized, and it can become great 'me' time. I've been going for power walks a few times a week, just me for a good hour. I highly recommend it. You'll feel less sluggish too, which is an added bonus.

I think I reached a point sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon where I hit a brick wall and just crashed. Now I am left to try and peel myself off the brick wall and get myself back on the right track.
I think it was a mixture of being really sleep deprived because I never really gave myself time to relax after getting home from Ontario, and then making some not too great decisions about a couple things that lead me to get a little jumbled up.
Nevertheless, I am super pumped about school, and I am really hoping to hear back about last weeks job interview today (and if I don't hear back than I might drop by and talk to the manager and just say "hi".). And I also want to get into contact with a local organization to volunteer with.
See, this is what typically happens to me... I get free time and I don't always use it wisely. So I need to find those good, healthy ways to use my free time again.
Plus, I had some bad influences from some friends over the past couple weekends. I love my friends dearly, but you know, sometimes you with they would just look out for you a little more and perhaps suggest drinking a glass of water instead of another gin and tonic. And when you have made it plain that you are not drinking that evening, and they offer you twice to taste their drink... it's like, why can't you understand that I don't want to taste you drink? Why do you keep offereing it to me?
So I have purged my apartment of all things evil and nasty. I think I am going to get a cat. I am going to start jogging or walking every day. And I think I am going to start turning off my cell phone at 8pm every night so no one can call me. These are my plans.
I will finish reading "The Rise of Rome" today, I will start reading "Joseph Andrews" tomorrow and finish it by the end of next weekend. Then I will start reading "Metomorphisis" after that.
It's all good. Woot!
