What a weekend... Friday began with supper at Taco Picas with an old friend who I ran into for the first time in, oh, probably two years... I love margaritas and veggie nachos... mmm... Then we went for a beer at Churchills. Then to Sebastians where I had more beer and a Chocolate Dream Martini (yum- these are the most delicious thing ever). Then I went to Elwoods for Mr. Something Something. It was a good show. An awesome nite. I vaguely remember getting home at some point in time... It was after I shared a shot of Tequila with some friends so everything gets a little blurry after that.
Saturday morning I was hung over. I went shopping for earrings with a friend, while trying to nurse my hangover. Then I saw Dan and Anthony at da Ale House, and joined them for a beer... at which time the keg plan was born.
That night there was a keg on my deck. Need I say more? It was the Horsfield St Courtyard party. It was insane. I loved it. I love Anthony and Dan. And everyone else... Lisa, Lynz, Erin, Matt, Julie, etcetcetcetc... And I love fuzzy dice. Thanks for everyone for coming! :)
Last night, while trying to be good and go to bed early, my friend Ariane showed up on my doorstep and dragged me down to Cougars for a little bit of Open Mic night. Was chatting with Jon and some others... it was nice mellow evening, and I was home my midnight so it was all good.
Oh- I found out yesterday I lead my English class with an 88% (an A). So- whooo-hoooo!
I leave for Ontario a week from tomorrow. Gotta do some packing.
Gonna go to Elwoods on Wed nite to see Wintersleep and Pilate... if anyone wants to join me, send me an email or call me.
