I just finished a rather crazy week. And I have sworn off alcohol for the next week. Let's just say, I think I lost control somewhere in the middle of Wednesday evenings, and for the following 48hrs, wow... I dunno, it was all spent either smashed or hungover, or a combination of the two. So, yes, no more alcohol for the next week.
Fortunately I did make an A- on my anthro test which I wrote Thursday afternoon while still hungover. Oh, how terrible did it feel trying to read the questions and make sense of them while the room continued to spin around me.
Haha- and then, Friday evening I spent avoiding alcohol, then as I am on my way home from Churchills, I see some old friends from school on the next corner. I cross the street in an attempt to avoid them. But oh no- they yell across the intersection to me... then invite me to a party. Oh god. I said I would tag along for a bit. Luckily for me, the people that were supposedly having a party weren't. So I avoided getting myself into trouble for a third consecutive evening and ended up home and in bed by 1:15am. Which beat Thursday night's 4:14 and Wednesday night's I don't have-any-sweet-clue-but-it-was-late.
Oh- and here's how you know you were drunk. I was walking into Brunswick Square on Thursday and see someone who had been at the bar on Wednesday night. I say "Hey, hows it goin?" in passing on my way into the building. He says "Hey" back, only it turned into a prolonged "Heeeeeeey..." and then suddenly recognizes me and asks "So did you have a good time last night?" I reply as continuing into the Square "I had a blast!"... and then he says "So where you heading out to tonite? (Or something to the same effect). I gave no response and continued on my way. Oh man... It made me laugh. Oh, I laughed.
