Finally... after close to a month, I have entered back into the work force. Hurrah for customer service jobs... (Note: I am not going to name my employer in my blog. If you want to know, ask me.) So far, after two shifts, I like my job. My co-workers are really nice. It's not a stressful job, and allows for lots of one-on-one customer interaction, which is what I like. And it's a locally owned and operated business, which makes me feel good to be working for the "little guy" instead of the major multi-million-dollar corporation. So I am happy. And we are not opened on Sundays, so sweet... no working Sundays for me... (Which means gals, Saturday night I could potentially be drinking a lot!)
So, for the first time in a long time I feel optimistic again.
Now, as soon as I decide what course(s) I want to take intersession... I'm thinking "Intro to Sociology" because there are a lot of Soci courses that look cool, but all have the prereq of Intro to Soci. So if I get that out of the way in intersession than I can look at taking the more interesting Soci courses next fall and winter.
I am also thinking "Intro to Spanish", but I am thinking it might be better to take that during the school year instead of intersession. Then again, I hate learning languages in a classroom setting, so maybe I should take it in intersession so I can get it done quickly, instead of having it take up an entire semester... And that gives me a head start on my language requirements for my BA...
Also, Intro to Soci and Intro to Spanish are scheduled back-to-back on Mondays and Wednesdays, so I would only have to go out to the Uni twice a week. And it wouldn't interfere much with work.
I love to overthink things... I can't wait to start taking Philosopy and Logic next year...
