I wrote a post the other day, but it somehow got deleted before I posted it, so I have not gotten around to rewriting anything today.
So the plan is as follows (and thank you everyone for your comments). Sublet apartment. Move home and work in Saint John, while helping with SJTC and Second Stage productions. Take two/three courses in the intersession. Go to Stratford in July for six weeks. Come home, contine working part time and begin full time studies at UNBSJ.
I reflected further on taking French courses (and Colin made some points that I had thought of, but had just neglected to write in my past entries.) I was looking into taking French at an independant school (independant because it was not a Uni or College) in Montreal. But two things made me decide not to. 1) I would be afraid that the "if you don't use it you lose it" scenerio would pop up again if I took it and then returned to anglaphone Saint John. 2) why spend an extra grand on that, when I can take french classes for university credit at UNBSJ. considering I want to work on a BA, I believe a second language is required. Of if it isn't, I want to take a second language anyway. Maybe a couple other languages...
As far as going to France was concerned... learning french just gave me an excuse to try and take off for France for a while. I mean who wouldn't want to take off for France for a month?
So... not I just have to sublet that flippin' apartment in Montreal and get moved back down here.
On another note, I am excited to see the improv show tonight, and to see lots of people I havn't seen since August! Should be fun! Hope to see you there!
