13 Days until Christmas Vacation Last week was the setup for Crime and Punishment. Overall things went really well. There were some tedious moments- like setting up the bridge. Uugh... the bolt holes were a major pain in the ass. It felt like we spent forever trying to line up the bolt holes. And since the hole was only 1/16 bigger than the bolt, there is not much wiggle room. However, it was all worth it. The set looks georgeous! Really. I love it. I am so excited to see it once it's lit. There are window flats that flown in in front of the bridge, and they are going to catch the light so georgeously. And there is also grating on the floor- I love it when there is lighting from the floor. It always looks so wonderful.
I went out for beers on Thursday night with two of my classmates. There is a place right by my apartment that has 2 for 1 draft, so we partook in that deal.
And since it was such a good time we did the same thing Friday, only more people came. We ended up drinking a fair bit more than I expected to. It was fun though. We had some really good laughs. We actually managed to talk about stuff other than school (which is a miracle- really). It really made me feel so good to just laugh and joke around. Good times...
Today was a day off for me... I ended up staying in all day. I did homework in the morning, slept in the afternoon, and now I'm working on cleaning up my apartment a bit. I have a 8am call time tomorrow, so I want to go to bed early. However, considering I napped for 2 1/2 hours
this afternoon I'm probably not going to feel like going to sleep... Maybe I'll go rent a movie.
This week I'm on the Tech Adjust crew... so I mostly have morning calls and have most afternoons and evenings off (at least at the moment until they change the schedule...). I really want to do something like go to a museum or wander around Old Montreal or something to see and enjoy the city. I often foget the fact I live in Montreal...
