Wow.... was last night every a crazy night! And when I say crazy, I mean crazy. I attended what could very well be the most insane party I have ever been too. Yes, we are talking somewhere in the ranks of Second Stage cast parties. Only everyone didn't know each other like we do at SJTC cast parties. So it was an evening of randomally sparking up conversations with people, and getting really drunk.
See, a bunch of actors rent two apartments just about a block away from the school. One on the second floor and one on the third. (The ground floor is a depanneur.) So the entire place was decked out for Halloween, and almost everyone from school was there. It was insane. Most of my class met at Rob's place and then headed over. We arrived (my bottle of tonic water spiked with half a mickey of gin) in tow. It was crazy. I walked in and couldn't believe it. People, music, dancing. People upstairs and down... crazy insane costumes... more liquor that you could imagine. It was awesome. I stayed until about 2am when I headed down to my friend Jessi's place who was also having a party. Jess was totally smashed when I got there, so I partied for a bit with her than headed home. I was in bed at about 3am.
The kicker to this whole thing... I had theatre history at 10am this morning, then health and safety this afternoon, and tonight is the strike (and after-party) for the studio show.
Theatre history was hilarious. 6/7 people in the classroom were completely hung over. My teacher just sorta looked around the table at us and just chuckled. Oh, great fun.
What an insane 24hours. Welcome to theatre school...
