I'm moving in ten days! *cue chaos* Oh man... I don't even know what I'm doing any more. I finished work on Sunday- so I am now officially unemployed for the first time in over 4 years. It's depressing... I now don't have any income. Maybe I'll have to wrangle the parents into giving me an allowance again! :P My weekend doesn't even need any acknowledging... I didn't make it to the luau... my parents invitied me out to supper, so I deceided to do that instead. Plus, I had to work early Sunday, so I thought I should perserve my energy.. This morning I am trying to work on my essays for school... only it's not working out too well. I would seriously rather have an assignment for a 1000 word essay as opposed to an assignment for a 300 word summary. Summaries are nothing... summaries are just pointless and annoying. So, I ended up writing an approx. 900 word essay comparing the different marriages in the novel, and the different sources of love. For example- there are parrell relationships... Joseph and Rachel's love springs from a deep lust and sexual tension, whereas Joseph and Leah's love comes from respect and appriciation. Parrall to these two marriages is Dinah and Shelam, who experience the deep lust and sensual desire, and then Dinah and Benia who's love grows more from appriciation and respect. (Oh- the book is The Red Tent, it's based on Genesis- Joseph and his 12 sons... only it's about Joseph's only daughter, Dinah. It's an amazing book.) Blah... will I get in trouble because I didn't do what the assignment said, and instead went above and beyound what was asked? I mean, the essay does include a summary as well... cuz I briefly describe the events of the book to get to my theories on love. Blahhhhhh..... I hate essays... Or rather I hate summaries. I rather enjoy essays. I think I'll print this off, and hand it in, but also write a three hundred word essay, just so that it's clear I did understand the assignment. But I can always argue that it says at least 300 words. And 900 is at least 300... hehehe....
