I was supposed to blog today about how my cast was laughing at me last night in rehearsal... although to be truthful, I don't remember why they were laughing at me now. I think it might have been because I slipped into Uber-Stage-Manger-Props-Mode... and I went into this detailed rant about how I wanted the cappichino cup and then at a lot of cafes they will serve a capp with a little chocolaty-wafer-stick thing. So I said I wanted to find some of these chocolaty-wafer-stick things and so when Betty gets her capp she can have that to munch on as well as drinking. So, I think this was when Alex and Suzy and Jenn started mocking me and laughing at me... I like props. This is why I'm going to eventually be a Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager.... cuz I like props. :)
Also, I want to take a moment to mourn the end of Strawberry Season. Strawberry season was very plentiful and flavourful this year. It lasted most of June and July. I enjoyed strawberrys on pancakes, in shortcakes, on cheesecake, in jam, with milk and sugar, and perhaps my favourite way, just straight up. It was a glorious season, to be remembered with fondness until next June when the strawberries return. RIP Strawberries.
