I learned the hard way how difficult it is to refinish a dresser. I bought this paint remover stuff that is supposed to lift the paint right now. Well, needless to say, it didn't work as easily as I thought it would. And three hours later, after scraping and sanding and sanding and scraping, the dresser was ready to be re-stained. It will be worth it in the end, because it will look sooooo much nicer, and it will match my bookshelf. But, oh my god, it was a lot of work sanding that muther-fucker.
