Well.... I had my first mental breakdown over my project on Tuesday. I really felt like I had no idea what I was doing and felt so confused and overwhelmed.... and then I fell asleep in the car while waiting for my mom to get off work, and therefore missed going to the theatre to help Kiki with set touch ups (sorry... :( )
Yesterday I ended up having a very busy day, despite the fact I didn't anticipate it... I left home at 8:30... went to class, went to the gym, then I stopped by work to get next weeks schedule. And what happens... "Thank God you're here Hayley, can you work right now... it doens't matter what you're wearing... Patty went home sick around eleven and we've been swamped..." So I went out back and washed my arm pits in the sink. (I had planned on going home, so I didn't shower after the gym.) I made myself as work worthy as possible, and worked for the next four hours. Then I went home just in time to realize there was a poetry reading at the uni I wanted to go to at six. So I brushed my teeth and off I was again. Finally, at eight o'clock I got home and ate supper. Oh, I love life.
So yeah, it turns out I'm not working Evita. Kristi was like "I don't think we'll need you, and I don't want to waste your time." No offense to anyone, but I was grateful.... I really need to have some time to work on this project. And considering I've had a lot of extra time at work I wasn't expecting, any spare time is critical.
So why am I using the critical spare time to write in my blog? Good question. I'd better stop.
