Yesterday was a good day. I went to class in the morning. Then I met my friend Jessi who's down from Montreal and went out to lunch and wandered around uptown all afternoon. I skipped the gym (oops... but I went both mon and tues so I figured I was allowed to!) Then I came home and chatted with an old aquaintance on the computer for at least 45min I think... I haven't talked to him in quite a while and I realized we have quite a bit in common. We're going to see Constantine tonight. It feels like it might be a date. I realize that might not make sense to say that like that, but he asked me if I'd like to go see a movie with him sometime, and I said yes. Before proposing this, however, he asked if I had a boyfriend- and we both had this moment of admitting that we were both single. And you can't really say it's just a friends thing... it's not like going to the movies with people you hang out with on a regular basis, cuz I havn't seen him in a long time. And I have it from a reliable source that he saw me at work one day and told a mutual friend that he thinks I'm "hot". (And I pray to go that he doesn't know this blog exists, although I used to have it on my MSN profile.) So. That's that. I'm going to Constantine tonight.
My parents are leaving for Cuba today! (Or leaving for Halifax and flying out to Cuba tomorrow.) So I have a whole week of peace and quite at my house! Yeah!
Question: Anyone have any plans for an Oscar party? Sunday night is fast approaching, and I can't stand watching the Oscars by myself! People are welcome to gather at my house, however it might not be too convienent since I live West.
