I emailed the Godspell director last night and steped down from my positon as wardrobe head. Thanks for all the comments... I needed to know I was doing the right thing.
So after having my hair curly on the weekend, and enjoying it very much, I got myself some hot rollers yesterday. And now I appriciate Martin and Dre soooo much more for doing my hair for Photoshop Time... oh my god, those fricken rollers are not easy to put in. Especially since I've gone to the gym the past three days, and my arms are fricken sore....
Ladies- any tips on how to put them in easier? Or is it just a practice thing?
So I filled out an online application yesterday for Irving- that application was the most crazy thing I've ever had to do! There was a five or six page quiz you had to fill out about how you react to situations and so forth.... crazy... but... the two irvings just down the street from me are hiring... and I'm desparate... I'm only getting about 20hrs a week at Coles. And, I just found out yesterday a girl that's on maternity leave is coming back, so they laid off one of the students that's working weekends at the store. I'm afraid that if the maternity leave girls wants more than like 10hrs a week that I'm going to be cut back to accomodate her. I'm pretty pissed. There was no need to lay a student off who is only working 7hrs a week anyway. That's bullshit. I'm just afraid that in the end I'm going to be screwed there, so I need to find something else quick. I'm hoping to find a waitressing job for the summer... maybe on the board walk or something... somewhere I can make some tips. If not, I'm getting so desparate the call centres are looking pretty inviting.
