It's late, but Merry Christmas everyone. And Happy New Year.
I had a good, relaxing Christmas... didn't do much, didn't get much, and I'm happy just the same. I ate lots of food; it's all good.
I'm officially enrolled at UNBSJ. Starting a couple classes on Wednesday; intro to poetry and shakespeare: the later plays. I'll be happy to cut back on work a bit.... I enjoy working at Coles about 50% of the time... the other 50% I wish I was somewhere else. I believe you must be happy whatever you're doing... even if it is a shitty minimum wadge job... past jobs I rarely woke up and just plain didn't want to go to work.... whereas there have been more than a few mornings like that at Coles... We'll see what happens.
Not much else has been happening.... or nothing worth mentioning.
Watched Closer a couple weeks ago... it was really good... it was nice to watch a movie that relied on the acting as opposed to special effects. Saw The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou... I liked it.
I'm reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman... first book I've actually been able to get into in quite a while (besides Lemony Snicket.) It's really good...
