Nine days left!! I'm getting sooo excited! I'm pretty much ready... I've got my backpack packed, I just want to do my laundry, and need to photocopy my documents (passport, plane ticket, etc.) and get to the bank for some Euro's and pounds!
I am trying really hard to fit Stratford-Upon-Avon into my trip, but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to. They are doing all the tradedies at once up there.... *drool*. I'm going to try and tack it onto the end of my trip, so that I don't use the extra money at the beginning of my trip. At best it will cost me about $200 canadian dollars for transportation to and from London, plus tickets and hostel for two shows and two nights.... bloody pounds... the exchange is soooo rotton. However, I can see KING LEAR and MACBETH if I go on the 24 and 25 of September.... which is so tempting.
I am going to go to the Globe in London. I can see MEASURE FOR MEASURE and ROMEO AND JULIET. There it's only 5 pounds for standing in the yard, which is doable. Plus I can see RIGOLETTO and IL TRAVATORE in Prague. The cheap seats are 100 crowns, which equals $5.22 Canadian! Talk about a sweet deal!
So, thats the Europe theatre plan! Plus whatever else I can find and afford!
