I feel like I am going insane.
Life's been pretty interesting lately.... I am stage managing Dance 2004 at the Imperial Theatre tonight. Last night's rehearsal went bad and was very chaotic.... I'm just praying that tonight's show goes okay. It's hard when your working with amature dancers...
I finally made it back to class yesterday. The morning was completely screwed up, and I wasn't sure what time my math class started so I went to the office to ask... only to discover that the school was under lockdown because the police had dogs in the halls. So they made me stay in the office until the lockdown was over. Oh well, it beat math.
I am not going to make it to the CK rehearsal today, because I have a list of at least 10 things I want to get done before 5:00. I will try to come to the show on Tuesday, but I probably won't actually participate in any of the games. Then again I have a German test on Wednesday, so I might not make it. Who knows.... uugh life is crazy.
Well, it's time for me to get working on that list of things to do...
Oh- I watched a couple good movies this past week- SYLVIA- Gwenyth Paltrow acted for once! (Sorry, I'm not a big fan, but I liked her in this). MATCHSTICK MEN- I found Nick Cages character annoying, but I think he was supposed to be that way. The movie was good, I thought, and I enjoyed the end because it completely changed tones, which was refreshing.
I also watched THE EMPERORS NEW GROOVE... for a Disney movie this made me laugh and laugh. I havn't got as much pleasure out of a movie in a long time. I also watched EVER AFTER and PLEASANTVILLE (both of which I bought, so obviously I like them). OPEN RANGE was very good, as was RUNAWAY JURY. Luke got me to watch DOG DAY AFTERNOON and GONE WITH THE WIND. I really didn't like DOG DAY AFTERNOOON.... sorry Luke. I see why GWTW is considered such a masterpiece, and although I don't think I will ever watch it again, it was worth watching once.
Wow... you can tell I work at Blockbuster... I watch far too many movies!
