Wow... wow... wow.... I don't know where to even start when discussing the past week of my life. We'll start with last Tuesday.... when I started dating Luke... yeah, I don't think either of us expected it to happen, although we both hoped separately that it would happen, and evidently it did happen. So that happened Tuesday evening.
Wednesday was my first of four days at the Baking Stone (the owners son's wedding was on Saturday, so she needed some extra help and enlisted me to work). So I learned how to bake all the stuff there... it was fun. Then after work Luke and I went out to supper. Then Thursday I went to work, and then Luke picked me up from work and we hung out for a while.... Friday... a repeat of Thursday (do you see a trend beginning to appear?). Saturday, I had my car back (oh, by the way, my brother wrecked my car while I was away- drinking and driving of course- so I've been carless all week) and I picked up Luke after I got off work and I made him supper. Then yesterday... well, to make a long story short, after work we went to the Nature Park, and ended up leaving out lights on for the two hours we were there, thus running out the battery. And by the way, the park closes at 8 o'clock, and we were inside the park. So, at 8 I flagged down one of the Irving trucks.... she got another lady to bring down some jumper cables. They were really old, and we couldn't get them to work. So then I called home, and Justin and dad were out and mom didn't know how to use jumper cables (in case we were hooking them up wrong). Anyway, we finally decided to leave the car there for the night, and I drove Luke home. His dad is bringing him over today to boost the car. Oh my..... it was pretty hilarious- honestly. So that's that. I've gotta go get ready for work, and I think I'll run over to the park and make sure Luke gets his car working this morning.
