Worked this morning for my co-worker who had a family emergency. Now I'm just mellowing out, making a new tape to jog to (as much as I love the mix tape Jay made me- I think I've used it every time I've jogged for about the past year now and I'm in need of some variety!)
Lindsay has been trying to get me hooked on watching "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". (I realize what a great time to start watching it.... the year it goes off air...) I watched a couple episodes last week- it was entertaining, and I can see how one could get hooked on it. However, I haven't been hooked on a tv show since I stopped watching the Guiding Light (a soap opera) which was back in 1999. I occasionally watch That 70's Show or (of course) The Simpsons.... but there isn't anything that I MUST see every week.
I watched some of "Almost Famous" last night... I didn't really like it. I was bored while watching it. Maybe it was just because it was on tv and therefore had commercials every couple minutes.... but whatever, I still didn't find it very entertaining.
Meh... I guess things are really pretty unexciting... just work... the manager at Blockbuster said he would be calling me next week for an interview... I don't have any doubt about getting the job- I know I have it.
I'm undecided whether or not I want to audition for "Guys and Dolls". I dunno.... I do and I don't. At this moment I almost find it more appealing to just sign up for backstage crews. Plus, with Blockbuster, I'm really uncertain if I could even juggle both schedules. I don't know....
