Well, I decided to audition for "Guys and Dolls" last night. I actually biked uptown to the auditions- which I realized afterwards probably wasn't a great idea because I was really sweaty and hot when I got to the loft. I wasn't too concerned because after the dance everyone was sweaty and hot! I think it went well overall... the dance was fun and reminded of how much I enjoy dance. The singing piece was a little hard to learn in five minutes... I just gave my all in the audition and tried to show that I have some volume and power in my voice, and that I've had training (which I'm sure Mr Sutton was able to see). So it's done. I'm not getting my hopes up- I know there are A LOT of people auditioning. And if I don't get cast, I'm just as happy working backstage.
I biked home after the auditions.... then I went almost immediately asleep- I was exhausted!
My uncle came and hung up my hammock chair for me yesterday... it's soooooo comfy! We hung it under the deck, and it's so nice and big you can stratch right out in it. I love it!!!!!! It'll be a great place to go and read and mellow out...
I work today... between this week and next week I'm getting almost 60 hours!!! Which makes me very happy...
Yeah... so that's that.
