New River Beach was fun today... mom and I walked the nature trail, which was really nice and had some really nice views over the bay. Then we laid on the beach for a while before heading home. I'm unfortunatly didn't make it to see Peter Pan this evening... I have to work tomorrow morning at seven, so I decided it would be best to hit the sack early tonight, and maybe even bike to work tomorrow (not likely, but a good thought.)
Here's today's summer Friday Five:
1. How are you planning to spend the summer?
Working at JM, and possibly Blockbuster... Going to Stratford for two weeks... hiking, jogging, biking, walking... hopefully climbing Mt. Katahdin... getting lots of R&R...
2. What was your first summer job?
Java Moose... I started there in May 2001.
3. If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go?
Realistically, Stratford- and I am going there! I really want to go climb Mt. Katahdin, but I first have to find someone to go with me. I suppose I could say Europe or something crazy, but that's a place I want to go in general- not specific to this summer.
4. What was your worst vacation ever?
Ummm.... I don't think I've had any overall miserable vacations... Kouchabequack (that's definitely not spelled right) was really buggy, which made it unenjoyable... and I'm told I was really whiney in Ottawa because I didn't want to walk anywhere... and I got a little bit homesick when I went to St. Andrews for ballet camp in '98... and dad frequently made staying at the cottage hell because he would be stubborn and grumpy... so there are little things that were bad... I also remember one time I went to Bangor and was really really sick all the way home. Also, going camping with my aunt, uncle and baby cousins was a definite mistake!!
5. What was your best vacation ever?
Probably last summer at Stratford- that was an amazing experience...
