I did my audition for Merchant last night... it went okay.... better than last time, that's for sure!
Only I now have a wonderful delimma at my hands... my father wants to auditon. First off, I don't know if he realizes that this means giving up a good portion of your spare time to rehearse... which would take away from his golfing time. Second, if he was in it, I wouldn't me. Acting is my love, and it's something that I enjoy doing and feel comfortable and happy doing. Having my father there, someone I don't get along with very well, would ruin it for me. It just would. What does anyone else think about this?? If you were seventeen, would you want your father acting in the same production you are in??
