Well, I emailed my friend, Jeff, about my computer problems (along with the text size the A drive isn't working and he stole my printer power cord...), so hopefully everything soon will be fixed.
Yesterday I ended up working... it wasn't that anyone asked me, it's just that I was sitting at Java Moose, reading my book around noon. One of my co-workers casually mentioned that Liz had to leave cuz her son hurt his arm. So I'm like, oh, that sucks... I hope he's okay. Then I look down a few moments later, and there's a mob of people in line, and the new manager is struggling to cope alone (because Kim and Dave had taken a catering...) So I went up and said "I heard Liz had to leave...." "Yeah" "Do you need me to work...." hesitation on the new mangers part "...cuz I can...." "well, okay, if you wouldn't mind..." So there... I was working for the next three and a half hours. They sent my down to Canterbury Street with a catering... I pratically feel on my ass with a plate of Sandwiches and one of Squares in my hands.... grr... and my finger tips were hurting by the time I got back to the store.
Anyways... afterwork I called up Lydia to see if she wanted to go see a movie... so we went to "The Life of David Gale". I really enjoyed it- Kevin Spacey is awesome, and I enjoyed Kate Winslet and Laura Linney in this as well. Then I came home and started reading "Orlando" by Virginia Woolf. Lindsays recommended it to me, and said it's on of Woolf's easier reads.
Gotta send my Stratford application tomorrow... I'm picking up my reference letter from Sandra tonight... I'll have to send it via Puralator cuz it's due Friday.
Three more days till South Carolina... I guess sometime I should think about packing... or at least do some laundry so I have something to pack!
