So Friday, Trish from Stratford called me. She needed my SIN number for some tax forms or something because I received a bursery last summer. But while we were talking I asked her about the summer program this year, and in particular the production program that they are starting. She said that the outline for the program is for the first week or so you would basically be a shadow to different people in the theatres... ie sound guy, lighting guy, stage manager.... etc. Then, if there is any particular area that you have special interest than you could arrange more time to work with that person. Then during the other time you would do the lighting, sound etc for the acting classes final demostration, and be the stage manager during the show. Trish also said how it would basically be altered to fit whoever is filling the position... for instance in my situation (since I'm an actor as well) I might have a small scene in the show itself, along with the other responsibilities I would have.
So..... I think I'll apply again this year... :o)
Worked yesterday.... blah blah blah.... it wasn't too busy. It was Cathy's last day working... she's leaving for out west next weekend, where she is going to train to be a RCMP. She's a cool person... I enjoyed working with her!
Then last night had a big bowl of chile when I got home (cuz I was reallly hungry!) Then watched About A Boy. It was good, just a little too mellow for my mood last night.
Today I'm going to the Salesman production meeting, then after going to Jessi's to hang out.... tis all for now...
