Why is it that some people feel the need to write nasty comments on people's blogs, and insult them? I would ask that "libralunatic" would please stop reading my blogs and leaving his/her supposed constructive criticism. Unless you are going to leave your name, I don't care what you have to say.
In fact, why in general are people so nasty in life? I realize that not everyone is going to like me- I have a unique personalitity that I know annoys certain people. But why do people have to be rude, bitchy and just plain mean? For instance, there is this girl who has a locker near mine and is in one of my classes at school. I don't know her at all, nor does she know me. Needless to say, she is a complete bitch to me. And the one day that I said something nasty back to her, instead of just being polite like I try to be other days, I immediatly apologized and said I just wasn't feeling well (which was true). What does she do? Tells me to "fuck off". Really, why are people like that?? I try my hardest to be open minded about people, and be nice and friendly. God knows there are people who I can't stand the sight of, but I just turn the other way and avoid them, instead of being nasty. What joy do others get from being nasty? I think that most days the only reason I feel happy is because I put a smile on my face and say "hi, how are you" to the people I know. It does wonders, and makes me feel better when I get a smile in return. I know it's corney, but it's amazing what a smile can do. :o)
Anyway... this morning I went to Fredericton to try and do some Christmas shopping.... and had absolutly no luck. I just don't know what to get my parents and I'm getting quite stressed about it. My problem is that there are certain stores I really like supporting (like places in the City Market, The Feel Good Store, the Butterfly Shoppe- and other independant stores.) So I've been trying, and searching for something to get from these stores, but I have an impossible time deciding. So I'm just going to go tomorrow, and pick something...
oh- so yeah Fredericton was boring... I went with Stephanie, and browsed Chapters and the Owl Bookstore, and Cultures... had lunch at Coffee & Co., grabbed a pizza from Luna for my parents for supper (we get the half cooked there, and finish cooking them at home- my father has seriously been getting pizza there since 1982 he says...), and came home. At least it gave me an escape from Saint John for a few hours...
Then I had a meeting with my manager, and she's going to put my on at the Market on Saturdays (instead of the mall) starting in February. Then... I came home and I'm extremely tired.... I'm gonna go grab "The Two Towers" and work on the last 140 pages I have left to read! I can't wait to see the movie!!
