Went to see Gangs of New York last night. I really enjoyed it, and thought it was quite well done. It was actually more violent than I expected it to be, not that this bothered me. I found that throughtout the movie there was the dominating feeling where you never know when someone would stab someone else in the back- litereally. It really entranced me, and I completely enjoyed it. It didn't even seem awfully long, despite it's 2hrs 47min time.
Now... I'm going to see Lord of the Rings today... I'm hoping that there won't be a terribly full theatre... and I'm really excited to see it... :o)
