I've been completely amused by the SJHS Forums recently. There has been this enormous debate about me and that I wasn't cast in Shakespeare this year. Some people are really flattering and saying how I should have been cast, and others have been just the opposite. People have also been commenting about some other actors (including Cian Horriban) and also about the director herself (some people say good things others bad...). Everyone seems to be insisting that the production will be great... I guess time will tell... I will definitly be curious to go see it- I only hope it doesn't completely ruin the reputation of Saint John High School Shakespeare (god knows the musical reputation is already ruined- we need to keep at least some shred of theatrical dignity!) Maybe it will be good... but from what I've heard... I'm scared. I mean, they cut the line "It is the East and Juliet is the sun"... and Tybalt was cut down to ten lines.... I'm scared to see it simply on the principle that the play is going to be butchered before the cast even gets their hands onto it. Oh well... Enough about it. I'm just as happy that I'm not involved in it. My life is chaotic enough as is...
