I'm supposed to be writing my commentary right now... but instead I feel like writing random stuff here... Today has been an okay day.... I had a staff meeting at nine-o'clock this morning. One of my co-workers brought in cinnamon buns fresh out of the oven, and my boss was sitting there loading a mountain of whipped cream on them for us, and it was all melting... They were really yummy.... Then we had the meeting and so on... nothing exciting, just notes about closing at the new store, and making sandwiches and stuff. Afterwards I came home and went to the nature park for a jog. Grr.... I hate my sneakers. There is something seiously wrong with them, because they still give me blisters (leading me to believe that it's not just "breaking them in" that is the problem.) So I did about seven kilometers... Although over half of it I had to waddle-walk because my feet were hurting so much. It's weird but I'm in this complete must get in good shape mentality right now. My dad just got a family membership to the Y yesterday (he bought it at an auction) so I'm completely hyped up to do some weights again... Plus the swimming and running. It's scary...
Sniffle sniffle... the Pumpkin Patch is closing today. That makes me sad because I know that summer really truly honest to goodness over... until next year. I stopped and picked up a couple squashes with my mom... and it was depressing knowing that they won't be open again until next spring. I don't want winter to come...
Now back to the commentary...
