I was listening to ... oh damn ... now i cant remember the name of the show ... anyways its Saturday evening's on CBC and they play all these songs off 45s (you know... little records... see even I know that, Scott.) So I was driving home from visiting the guy I like, and song "Tell Him" was playing.... ahhh.... I could have screamed... tell him you love him, tell him you'll never leave him, tell him right now.... and so forth. I don't usually look at things as being signs, but I think that this was just too ironic to my present situation.
Now to recap the entire evening. So here's what happened... I decided that the thing that always makes me feel better is a hot chocolat.. so I went over to the mall, and made him a hot chocolate (and my co-worker gave me extra whip cream in a cup to take to him... ahh... wasn't that sweet?) Then I gave him a call and just told him I wanted to bring him something to help cheer him up. He seemed to enjoy the gusture of the hot chocolate, which made me happy... And it did seem to improve his mood. While I was there, he was working on buring a cd and was really tired so I just chilled with him for a while, avoiding any heavy duty conversation seeing as how his mind seemed pretty zapped. I did get this piece of information out oh him however, that he would rather us be friends, which is cool with me. Finally at some point in time, I dragged him away from the computer and gave him a back massage. Then he decided he must go to bed (understandable considering he was about to fall asleep anyways) so I was off...
It was such a seemingly insignifigent evening, but at the same time it was so nice just hanging out with no particular purpose. Plus, I know he's an awesome person, although I think lately he's been given a real hard time by some people. I just hope that he knows that I'll always be there for him.... that's one of the few things I like to think I'm good at is being there when someone need a friend...
