Had a normal day at school today... nothing out of the ordinary happened... I went swimming afterschool... there were a lot of people there, so I didn't particulary enjoy it... there were like seven people sharing one lane, and a couple of them were just fooling around, which made it difficult to actually work on anything too hard core. I say the guy that I like there... I talked to him for a couple minutes... that's the strange thing, I find when it's one on one we can talk and get along fine, but when there are other people around, it always feels ackward. Meh, oh well... I'll be happy if we're friends... but everything in that department of my life seems chaotic lately.
This evening I went to Comedy Knights... although Lisa, Anthony, Dan and I were locked out, while Scott and Jay presumably had wild passionate gay sex upstairs... I guess there weren't interested in having any more partners- you know just a note for next time- menage-a-trois is always fun! Hehe... Anyway, so I ended up coming home (I gave Jay a lift to the west side bowlarama, and chatted which is always awesome!)
Coming home ended up being very rewarding, because no one else was here and I practised my singing for a bit. I'm working on taking my Grade 6 Royal Conservatory of Music Vocal exam sometime soon, which means I have to know four pieces, two vocalises, and plus some tecnhical scales and sight reading and ear training. Yikes! There is something really rewarding when you finally make breakthroughs in something you've been working at though. My past couple vocal lessons I feel like I am really finally adapting some of the technical work and breath control that Joanne (my teacher) has been telling me again and again and again for the past god knows how many weeks. It is very self-satisfying.
Now I've gotta do a physics lab... damn you physics... damn you to hell!!!!
