Lately lots seems to be happening in my life. I did in fact try out for the swim team, and it was fun, and went well. (It's one of those situations where it doesn't really matter how you perform at the try out, because everyone gets on the team.) I think I am definitly going to try it out for a while, so I can brush up on my strokes and maybe makes some decent times and go to the swim meets.
It ends up that Shakespeare at the high school is back on again- only Captain won't be directing it. Michelle Hooten is directing. I don't know what to expect from the entire situation. One of my friends told me not to over analyse the situation, so all I'm going to say is the facts. She's going to do Romeo and Juliet (yuck!), in the main auditorm at SJHS, to be performed December 6 and 7. I'm going to audition, but I'm almost more interested in possibly being assistant director or stage manager... so I'm going to go talk to Ms Hooten asap and find out some more info.
Other than that I've had lots of schoolwork lately that has been making me completely exhausted. Yesterday I went to the first read for The Miracle Worker. I was a little surprised at some of the casting, but I think it will turn out very well.
