I feel better this evening, overall. I had a coffee before school today with a good friend of mine. She was teasing me saying she is going to set me up on a date with her brother... I'm just scared she might actually follow through! (Not that there would be anything wrong with that, it might actually make me feel happy, and cheerful again. Along as I don't get too attached.)
Then when I arrived at school I had a good chat with a teacher of mine who I trust and who has helped me in the past. It made me feel better just to talk, and have someone to help me out. Then I made it through the rest of the day allright. In english class I got to read my favourite scene from MacBeth- Lady M's letter scene. We read the play aloud in class, assigning parts, and luckily not many people like to read, so I always get a chance to! I always remember a directors advice to read aloud whenever possible, so I'm always eager to read.
I managed to figure out my physics lab before class as well, and got all my homework done which I had neglected to do over the weekend. Yippie!
Now I think I'm going to try and relax this evening. The muscel spasm in my back seems to be acting up again, and I need to just rest and maybe dive back into reading Lord of the Rings (I have less than 200 pages left in the first book.) I also have to get a copy of Wuthering Heights soon to start reading, so I can get a head start on the material for this semester.
Plus some other goals for the near future are to audition for the musical, and dive into singing lessons again- I might even persue taking my Royal Conservatory Exam (Grade 6). I want to work backstage for The Miracle Worker, and sell lots of subscriptions for the SJTC campaign. Plus I want to continue working out. As well, lots of school work, and I'll still be working at Java Moose. Plus Comedy Knights, and there is also a art class a friend emailed me about today that I might consider taking. Plus Captain is going to start an acting class. Plus, my guidance concellier encouraged me to look into anything theatrical going on at the university that I might be able to get involved in. So ah-ha, life will go on! I just have to look forward to the future and not get boggled down by the stresses of the moment! :-) And to all my friends out there who have encouraged me in the past few days, or ever, thank you!
