I've had an excellent day today, and was able to hang out with many of my friends whom I havn't seen in a little while. This afternoon I picked up Stephanie so she could show me "the beach" where I'm going to a party at Sunday night. It was quite cool, and in addition to the beach finding, we mellowed out on her hammock- it "rocked". (Hehe... sorry, I had to!) Then Lydia invited me out to supper at Taco Pica's, one of my favourite Saint John restaurants. Mmm... chicken floutas... corona... mmm... also the company of Lyd, Steph, and Jay (one of Lyd's friends whom I've met maybe once or twice before...) was a pleasing accompaniment to the food. Then, upon arriving home after supper, Ariane called me to hang out. So we drove out to the mall to grab some coffees, and ended up wandering aimlessly around the mall for a good hour or so before heading home again. However we did have an awesome time talking about everything and anything. I really enjoy her friendship because there are very few people who I feel free to say anything with. There always seems to be some limitation with everyone, but there is pratically nothing I can't say with her. We talk about pointless things like guys and clothes, and very meaningful things like family or friends situations, or important things going on in our lives. She also has a very good and active artsy sense, which I relate to and on which we can bond. It's wonderful to have the contrast of important and non-important... with some people it seems to be all important and others its all fun and games- both get aggravating after a while. I also can be completely blunt with her, which she doesn't take offense to... it's wonderful, and I completely value her friendship with all my heart. :)
