I wished yesterday would never end... I had a wonderful time yesterday. I spent the day hiking in Fundy National Park and driving along part of the fundy coast to check out Cape Enrage, then I made it back to Saint John in time for Comedy Knights. Hiking was a lot of fun- the trail we (a, we'll say, good friend of mine was with me) hiked was about 7.3km long and there were four waterfalls along the trail. Some of the trail included climbing over rocks and jumping over large puddles of water left from the rainfall earlier that morning. It was extremely beautiful- and it was a great irony that it followed the Haley River :-) The hiked reminded me of why I enjoy nature so much, and the wonderful solitude and escape that nature can provide from the real world.
We drove through the rest of the park, and then out to Cape Enrage which is basically a park located far up on a cliff, where, looking out you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Only it was really cold up there, so we just used this spot as a place to eat a picnic lunch.
Then we started off on the long drive back to Saint John... by this point in time both of us were feeling pretty tired, but I still managed to keep my focus to drive the hour and half back to Saint John. We arrived back uptown just in time to join in on the last warm up game for Comedy Knights. The games went really great at CK last night... I personally feel my performance went really well in Oscar Moments.
Then, much to my dismay, my day ended after CK, and I had to return home.
