I managed to keep myself very busy today, which was good considering if kept me from thinking about somthing that's been bothering me lately (which I won't get into...). I was invited to a supper tonight, so I spent most of my morning, and the first bit of my afternoon making two pies- a butterscotch cream pie, and a coconut cream pie. This was my first attempt ever at cream pies, and thank god they turned out okay. Although at the moment the thought of them makes me feel ill, because of this horrible nausea in my stomach.
I also went for a jog today... yippie...
Then this evening I went to rehearsal for "Showdown at the Fourcorners Corral"- a one act play I'm in with the Second Stage Theatre Company. I was actually interviewed for a local arts newspaper, Here, and they took some pictures of me (which may or may not be used in the publication). I felt very cool and special. Afterwards rehearsal went fairly well, although personally I messed up quite a few of my lines which I thought I knew... oops.
After rehearsal I stopped by the supper I was invited to, and grabbed some left over food, and had some good chatter with my friends. We spent much of the conversation discussing the Shakespeare productions at Saint John High School, and the future of the Summer Shakespeare Festival in Saint John.
It's hard to believe, but one week from tomorrow I will start class again... ohh... why does summer have to go?
