Life seems to frequently mock me. Presently it is a mere 21 hours and 50 min until I depart for Stratford. And guess what? I have laryngitis! Yippie! I am on my way to a world famous theatre festival to study acting for two weeks and I have no voice. Brilliant. Let's just hope that in the next 22 hours I somehow regain my voice...
Onto different matters... last night was a good evening for me (despit the fact that at that time I had only a little voice). I got to see one of friends who is going to Europe backpacking for two months! So this was my last chance to see her until she gets back. I'm extremely excited for her and I know she is going to have a great time!
She also set me up a date with a friend of mine whom I've been seeing lately (honest to God I don't know if we're going out, or what we are- that's a confusing matter for me...). You see, because I had virtually no voice she called him for me and (after explaining my vocal situation) somehow it was decided that we're going to get together this evening! Now I hope I have a voice by 5 o'clock!
Then last night, after this, I went to Jungle Jims to have dinner with my co-workers from Java Moose. They are some of the most fun and wacky people I know, which is what makes them so great. It was fun listening to them talk (even though I stayed very quite throughout the meal).
Now I had better go finish last min packing, and make the final preperations for Stratford!
