Last night was really quite spectacular here in Saint John. Thunderstorms truly are a crazy and sometimes frightening thing. My anticipation of the storm began when my father arrived home from Frederiction and told of baseball size hail (probably an exagarration...), windows being smashed, damage being done, and so forth. Then as I sat watching I Am Sam I saw the storm approaching from the north-west... coming... and coming... but that one seemed to by-pass us and I decided that we wouldn't get hit by the storm afterall. Then I woke up at some time during the night (I'm not sure the time, because the power was out so evidently my clock was too.) I felt like I was in a dance and someone had turned on a strobe light. Non-stop my room was lit up by flashes of lighting. Sadly all I seemed to think about was... so the protons and electrons are doing this and that (too much physics...). Needless to say, I was tired so I buried my head under my blankets and went back to sleep.
