I just got home from Comedy Knights which went okay this evening. There was an extremely small attendance compared to the usual mass of people... but then again that means we each got to participate in lots of games! I tried my hand at "Change" for the first time, and enjoyed it, although I need to practise it a couple more times to get the hang of it.
I guess I could mention an overview of the rest of my lovely day... I drove to Fredericton today (all by myself!) for an orthodontist appointment. While there I also hit the used book store and snagged a couple books- a Complete Works of Oscar Wilde, and The Norton Anthology of English Literature. It's ironic how both of these books tie so close to one of my good, well, friends I will say. It was because this friend once answered the question "If you were stranded on a desert island and could have only one book (among other things) what would you take?" The friend replied that he would take The Norton Anthology of English Literature. Because I respect this person and value their opinion I decided to seach for a copy of this. The Oscar Wilde connection is something that I will explain maybe some other time... although the main reason for buying Oscar was because he's an incredible author, and my brother stole back my copy of his complete works.
