I bought a new pair of running sneakers last week (and it is true to say that running sneakers are not a cheap thing to buy), and got to try them out this morning. Only less than ten minutes into my usual sixty minute routine I had two big blisters forming on the arches of my feet, which were causing excurciating pain. Therefore I had to stop running and semi walk/waddle back to my car taking me an additional twenty minutes... a distance I could normally do in half that time. Now I'm feeling very irritated because I spent a lot of money on sneakers to run in that are now causing mother-f**king blisters. Damn. This goes to show why I hate shoe shopping so much, and why I would rather wear the same shoes that I have had for over two years.
