I am always surprised how in one's mind life can take such drastic turns of importance. I have lately been very content and pleased with life in general, however today life has managed to offer nothing of value to me at all. I don't even really know why I bothered getting up this morning... I might as well have slept until five o'clock this afternoon and then got up in time to go to work. I could then find importance by pouring coffee for four hours at Java Moose, then go back to bed and sleep again until tomorrow when maybe something of greater substance for me to do would arise. Like maybe a friend would call me with some exciting adventure to embark on... like climbing Mt. Everest. Not likely, I know, but imaginary worlds often hold more mystery and amusment that reality. But instead today I got up and decided to try and achieve something out of this sunny, although slighty foggy, summer day. I put on a fantastic outfit... only to drive uptown, and drive back. What a great achievement that wasn't.
